We also have an excellent quoting tool that helps dsi work with its supply base to source new products and manage the ongoing cost of existing products. The use of good tools helps dsi speed the sourcing process, which often involves decisions about thousands of parts and hundreds of suppliers. These complex decisions need to be made quickly to reduce direct material costs, shorten sourcing cycle times, and deliver more business to preferred suppliers. |
