Product Engineering is responsible for the customer's product throughout
the entire manufacturing cycle at dsi. This responsibility starts with the quotation process, where the
details are reviewed against IPC-A-610 standards, and ends with the shipping process, where any special shipping and handling
instructions provided by the customer are implemented. This group essentially takes ownership of the product while it is
built at dsi, and follows the build through all of the assembly process to ensure that the customer's requirements are met.
All aspects of the product manufacturing process cycle are reviewed with the customer in order
to point out any potential problem areas that could affect the quality or reliability of the assembly.
